The origins of today’s company NCB Lohmann GmbH go back to the year 1908. At that time, Wilhelm Lohmann, the great-grandfather of the current managing director, founded the company F & W Lohmann GmbH & Co. KG. At that time, the company’s focus was on molding box construction.
In 1993, part of the company, which had grown over
Wolfgang Lohmann was taken over and continuously expanded.
Today, NCB Lohmann GmbH is one of the leading
German machining companies for components
drive technology in the fields of railway technology, wind energy and industrial applications.
The company currently employs 160 people.
With Mr Felix Lohmann, the 4th generation is now employed in the company, thus ensuring a secure future.

With Mr Felix Lohmann, the 4th generation joins the family business.

Capacity expansion for Offshire component production

Investment in the first NC machine

Continuous expansion of the production area
to today approx. 6.000 m2
2002
Expansion of the company at the Dieselweg site and construction of new production halls, here: New turning shop
The company now employs around 90 people.
2009
Construction of our new Plant 2 on the site of the old Rödinghaus ironworks and recruitment of 40 new employees.
2015
Further expansion in our Plant 2: new lightweight hall for storage purposes and extension of Hall 3 for the production of ever larger wind components
2020
Major investment in the first turning and milling centre and entry into the production of offshore wind components.
